MUNICH, June 15 (World Daily Times) — Official China-market details for a 2026 Changan Hunter K50 were not available in materials reviewed by Times Media Service, but Changan’s South African distributor is already marketing the Hunter line as a range-extended pickup for drivers and light-duty freight use.

On Changan Motors South Africa’s product page, the company lists a 31.2-kWh battery, a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, 200 kW of combined power, 350 Nm of torque and a 2,200-kg towing capacity for the range-extended Hunter.

The same page lists the range-extended Hunter from 799 900 in South Africa. It also shows diesel Hunter variants starting from 449,900 for a 2.0-liter 2WD model and 569,900 for a 2.0-liter 4WD model, each rated at 110 kW and 350 Nm.

The supplied materials reviewed for China did not include an official Changan Auto press release, regulator filing or manufacturer price sheet for a 2026 Hunter K50. As a result, Times Media Service could not independently verify a China launch date, a starting price in yuan or a model-year trim list for that market.

Without those primary-source records, the status of any 2026 China-market Hunter K50 update remains unconfirmed in the materials reviewed.
