WASHINGTON, June 25 (DC Times Online) — Consumers who bought frozen meatloaf meals from Power Plate Meals LLC should not eat them, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said, after the agency recalled nearly 5,795 pounds because soy was not listed on the label.

The Food Safety and Inspection Service announced the recall June 18. The agency said some affected packages may still be in home freezers.

The recalled product is a 13.3-ounce vacuum-sealed plastic tray labeled “POWER PLATE MEALS MEATLOAF WITH GARLIC MASHED POTATOES.” FSIS said the packages carry use-by dates from June 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and show establishment number “217SEND” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

FSIS said the meals were produced between June 25, 2025, and June 10, 2026, and shipped to distributors in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. The agency said a state inspector notified it that soy, a known allergen, was omitted from the ingredients list.

FSIS said there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions tied to the recalled meals. The agency told consumers to throw the products away or return them to the place of purchase.
