LAREDO, Texas, June 23 (Del Rio Online) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo seized more than 1,100 pounds of suspected methamphetamine from a commercial truck carrying a shipment listed as polypropylene, the agency said.

CBP said a border officer referred the 2013 D-13 Volvo for secondary inspection on Monday, June 15, 2026. A canine inspection and a nonintrusive inspection system examination led officers to 1,100.79 pounds of suspected methamphetamine hidden in the load, according to the agency.
